Itinerary:

Your sunrise tour begins with a transfer from your hotel within Voyages Ayers Rock Resort to the sunrise viewing area at Uluru where you can witness a magical sunrise and enjoy a picnic breakfast. After sunrise, your guide will provide you with Segway training. Once confident on your Segway, cruise effortlessly around the full base of Uluru with your guide. You will stop for photos and interpretive talks about local Aboriginal culture, flora, fauna, geology, and history of the area. Once you have finished the Segway component of the tour, you’ll make a short walk to visit Mutitjulu Waterhole. Here you can capture incredible photos and see ancient Aboriginal rock art.

Rider Requirements
This tour for those aged 12-55 years (visitors above 55 years should consider their individual suitability). This activity is not suitable for those above the age of 65 years due to increased risk in the event of a fall.

Children younger than 12 years cannot participate. To engage in any Uluru Segway Tours activities participants, need to:
- be a minimum of 12 years of age, and if under 18 years of age be accompanied by an adult;

- weight between 45-117kg a set out by Segway PT manufacturer;

- correctly wear the provided helmet at all times;

- be able to stand un-aided for the entire length of the tour;

- be able to walk unassisted;

- be able to step on-to and off-of the Segway, approximately 20cm (8inches);

- be free of drugs or alcohol;

- have vision that is of a standard that will allow safe operation of a Segway PT;

- have the balance, coordination, fitness and vision of someone who can safely ride a bicycle;

- inform Uluru Segway Tours of any health or vision conditions that may impact their participation in the activity

People with serious health problems/back injuries or who are pregnant should not participate in any Segway activities.

It is the riders responsibility to ensure that they have read and understand all of the above rider requirements.
