The climb time begins after sunset and captures the sparkling lights from the CBD and the vast canopy of Brisbane’s skyline. This fun and informative guided tour takes in a full 360-degree panorama of Brisbane’s night skyline plus the ever-changing Story Bridge LED lighting system. The Story Bridge Climb provides the best 360-degree panoramic view of Brisbane city from the heart and soul of Brisbane’s most iconic landmark – the Story Bridge. Delve into the city’s rich history as you ascend to breathtaking heights. The magnificent views will reveal the essence of Brisbane’s laid-back subtropical culture, the cityscape, and its surroundings. Downtown Adventure Start your Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure climb 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. to your scheduled departure. Climbs depart from base headquarters at Kangaroo Point directly under the bridge. After your expert Climb Leader describes the route and covers all-important safety procedures, you’ll depart and walk towards the river to start your climb. The climb starts up through the inner Eastern bridge arm, climbing level with one of Brisbane’s busiest commute points and then ascending straight up the south-eastern cantilever arm that stretches over the Brisbane River and reaches up into the sky. Before you know it, you’re celebrating with your climb group on the summit platform, where you’ll get your bearings and learn the history of the city and fun facts about the amazing 360 panoramic sight before you. Venturing further along you’ll explore the bridge from a different angle, travelling approximately halfway across the river below before returning to the top platform for a final climb group photo before you descend back to our Climb base.

Important Information:

- Wear light and comfortable clothing, full climb suits to be worn on top.
- Fully enclosed shoes mandatory.
- Camera's, phones, bags and other belongings not allowed on the bridge, lockers available.
- Hats and glasses attachments provided and sunscreen for every participant.
- All climbers must have a blood alcohol level less than .05%, all climbers will be breathalyzed prior to climb.
- Climb proceeds in all weather conditions except hail, high winds, or electrical storms in which case first option is to rebook at climbers preferred date and time.
- A minimum 6 years of age and must be over 110cm height (please advise total quantity of climbers between 110cm-130cm).
- Children between 6 to 9 years of age must have 1 adult to 1 child and children between 10 to 16 years of age can have 1 adult to 3 children.
- Climbers weight must be under 131.5kg due to safety equipment used.
- Pregnant women up to 20 weeks may participate in the bridge climb.
