A Whalesong Cruises courtesy vehicle commences pick ups at approx.07:00am from your Hervey Bay accommodation for your transfer to Urangan Marina, the departure point of your cruise.(Please call 24 hours prior to cruise to confirm exact pick up time, as it could be as late as 07:35am, given proximity to marina).At 07:45am, you board MV Whalesong - a 16 metre purpose designed and built Whale Watching vessel with leading edge technology and state of the art comfort. Also, an environmentally friendly and wheelchair accessible vessel with enclosed and open-air viewing on two levels, a water deck level putting you right where the action is. After we leave the marina and cruise out to where the whales are resting and playing, the crew come around and take your hot drink orders. They then serve you morning tea .Engaging and informative, expert commentary on marine life and local area's history (with direct translation given to French, Spanish, German or Italian speakers) and an underwater hydrophone to listen to the whales 'sing' (when conditions permit).

As the longest half day whale watch in the bay, enjoy extra time watching the whales play. Lunch is served on the way home, commencing around 12:00pm.Cruise concludes at 13:00, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.

- You can select to make your own way to the marina. There is plenty of parking, it's free and there's no time limit.

Bad Weather:

- Cruises may be affected by weather conditions. Whalesong will not penalise passengers if they choose not to travel due to bad weather. Bad weather is defined by strong winds, creating a big swell. Rain is not deemed bad weather unless accompanied by wind and swell. The skipper of Whalesong determines what constitutes bad weather. Please call at least 48 hours prior to cruise to hear about weather conditions - if this can be discussed this in advance, and you're flexible, Whalesong endeavour to put you on another cruise on a day with more favourable weather conditions.

COVID-19:

- If guest cannot travel due to Government enforced restrictions, they will receive a full refund. They must notify Whalesong, at least, the day before departure. Otherwise, they'll be regarded as a no-show and will forfeit any refund owing to them.
