Immerse yourself in wilderness, waterfalls and wildlife on this amazing tour to the pristine rainforests of Mt Field National Park. We leave Hobart and follow the Derwent River passing through the hop fields of Bushy Park where we visit the Salmon Ponds for morning tea and perhaps feed the fish in the oldest trout hatchery in Southern Hemisphere established in 1864. Arriving at Mt Field National Park start with an easy walk through the rainforest and fern glades to the spectacle of Russel Falls. Free time to purchase own lunch. There may be an opportunity to purchase fresh raspberries from roadside stalls(seasonal).
