Day Hobart to Launceston via Wineglass Bay one-way Day Tour Introduction:
Take the scenic route from Hobart to Launceston, spending the morning by the sea and the afternoon in the grapevines; After leaving Hobart travel along picturesque roads through seaside towns of Orford and Swansea to arrive at Freycinet National Park.; Then walk to Wineglass Bay lookout, a moderate 45-minute;hike that gets the heart pumping before revealing one of the best views in the Southern Hemisphere.;Gaze out over treetops to a sweeping vista of white sand and turquoise water, soaking in the beauty of Wineglass Bay. Depending on how active you’re feeling, you can extend your hike down to the beach for swimming, relaxing and dolphin spotting or return from the lookout with your guide to check out Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay and Cape Tourville Lighthouse. The afternoon brings us to Devil’s Corner winery, perched high on a hill overlooking Freycinet. It’s the ideal place to kick back with a glass of wine, fresh seafood platter, woodfired pizza, tea, coffee or artisan gelato before ending our day in Launceston. Highlights - Explore Freycinet National Park (4+ hours), Walk to the spectacular Wineglass Bay Lookout (moderate 45-minute; uphill walk to the Lookout); Optional - Longer walking option to Wineglass Bay Beach (longer walking option 2 hours return walk, approx. 1000 stairs), Visit; Honeymoon Bay, Cape; Tourville;Lighthouse (easy 20 mins flat walk). Afternoon break at Devil's Corner Winery site - wine, fresh seafood, woodfired pizza, tea, coffee or artisan gelato.

- Main luggage will be stored in the vehicle trailer throughout the day. All gear needed for the day should be carried in a day pack onboard the tour vehicle.
- Tour includes a hike to the Wineglass Bay lookout. This is a moderate hike, 1.3km uphill for around 45-60 minutes. Participants should have the ability to undertake this activity. A suitable level of general health, fitness and physical ability is essential. You will be participating in outdoor, active activities and therefore subject to the weather conditions of the day.
- Meals, drinks and snacks are not provided. A stop is made along the way for the opportunity to purchase a takeaway style lunch to take along for the day. This is usually in a regional town with a bakery style of sandwiches/rolls/wraps available to purchase. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch along with you. Lunch breaks are taken in the National Park at a scenic spot.
