Summary:
A Relaxed Paddock-to-Plate Mornington Tour.

Embrace the day with a stunning coastal drive south of Melbourne and prepare to be inspired and delighted by the diverse, boot‐shaped region known as the Mornington Peninsula. Welcome to “Foodie Heaven”, where serious food lovers are in for a treat. Our hosts own 27 acres of charming farmland with red fertile soil that allows them to grow and produce premium quality olives, grapes, herbs and veggies. They also raise sheep, chickens and fish and turn amazing produce from local farmers into a range of delectable goodies.

After a relaxing drive down Port Philip Bay, we find our way to the beautiful Red Hill region of Mornington. Be greeted by the owner of one of the longest continuously running small produce farms on the peninsula. Hear her family’s stories and learn about their unique organic growing techniques. You will get to sample honey straight from the beehive, learn about the native plants and how they have been used by the indigenous populations for centuries and develop a newfound appreciation for food and the Mornington. Sit down and be treated to a delicious Devonshire Tea complete with fresh. Homemade scones, house made jam and fresh cream as well as some local teas. There is no better way to start your day.

Try some of the Best Mornington Peninsula Wines.

Later you’ll sit back, relax and enjoy the surrounds while eating and drinking some of the finest food and wine the Mornington Peninsula has to offer. After lunch take a drive down the road to sample cool climate wines with one of our favourite wine makers, freshly made goats cheese from a local dairy or succulent strawberries and cherries from the fruit farms in the area. What more could a foodie want?
