For example Rod Laver Arena is only a tennis court during the Australian Open in January. MCG availability can be subject to change due to event scheduling and late release of restrictions. Where bookings are on the same day/time of an event Sporting Capital Tours encourages guests to experience the sporting event with the stadium tour conducted in situ. This is the recommended best way to experience the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Note, this is at no extra cost to the stated pricing for this experience. Note, this experience is designed to fit into itineraries that include an afternoon and evening tour of Phillip Island and the Penguin Parade. Guests will be assisted to their pick up point and are encouraged to specify Pullman on the Park, Wellington Parade, East Melbourne as the most convenient pick up point.
