This tour is a wonderful introduction to French Island, exploring the National Park and wilderness environment with ease and comfort in the 4WD vehicle. The tour commences with a fast catamaran ferry ride from either Cowes Jetty (Phillip Island) or Stony Point (Mornington Peninsula) to French Island aboard Western Port Ferries where you will be met upon arrival by the Naturaliste Tour guide. The local guides will share their knowledge of island life, history and the treasure trove of flora and of course the wildlife, including the iconic koala. This tour will provide the opportunity to have an up close and personal encounter with all of French Island's natural beauty. Take in the silence and pristine beauty of this unique, off-the-grid, eco-destination.

- The ferry departs from either Stony Point Jetty (Mornington Peninsula) or Cowes Jetty (Phillip Island).
- Guests must state where they will be departing from. Guests are requested to be waiting at least 10 minutes before the ferry departure time.
- The ferry operates on a scheduled departure. French Island is a pristine, off-the-grid, eco destination.
- The tour is off the beaten track so be prepared for the great outdoors. There is a small amount of walking, entering and exiting, the 4WD tour vehicle via 3 steps requires passengers to have a good level of fitness.
- It would not be suitable for those with limited mobility, pregnancy, or back/neck issues.
- Tour routes and stops may change depending on weather and track conditions.
- The ferry to/from French Island is weather-dependent and may be cancelled due to high winds or extreme weather conditions in the interest of passenger safety.
- When making a reservation, please ensure that you provide an Australian mobile phone number, so that it is easier to reach out to guests in the event of a ferry cancellation.
