This is an AMAZING SELF GUIDED TOUR. Meet at the lovely village of Blackheath, just 12 minutes from Katoomba or 2 hours from Sydney by train. Once all set up, you ride though Blackheath and pick up the Burramoko Ridge dirt fire trail to start our awe-inspiring ride to the edge of the magnificent Grose Wilderness. The Burramoko dirt cycle fire trail leads you along a ridge to a dramatic rocky bluff. With scenic valley views and crisp mountain air, it’s a sublime ride for adventurer who want to feel how small we are against mother nature. You meander through heathlands, open forests and dramatic views on route to Baltzer's lookout, in search of Hanging Rock. Upon arrival, there are no gates and no fences (totally raw), so expect your tummy to clench and the heart rate to elevate. You’ll feel on top of the world as you gaze across the scenic tree-lined enormous gorge fringed by golden cliffs. On a clear day we can view the Sydney CBD! Here you can enjoy your snacks and relax to enjoy the moment! This is a great ride for most skill and fitness levels. Also available is another ride called Anvil Rock Trail which is the easiest and most risk free of all rides. It is half road and half hard pressed gravel road. A side trip to Eroded Cave is part of Anvil Rock. Anvil Rock starts and finishes at the same place as Hanging Rock Trail.

- Minimum rider height of 135cm. Max rider weight 110kg (bike manufacturer condition).
- Weather Policy: unless the weather is dangerous and client is contacted to cancel, it is to be assumed tours will go ahead. Rain fog, mist, cold, heat (under 35 degrees celecius) are all accecptabel conditions.
- National Parks (NP) Closures Policy: From time to time the NP close different areas of its parks. If the park is closed where tour was planned to occur, tour will not be cancelled, rather we will provide other ride options in different areas of the national park that are suitable and just as amazing.
