Montville, Maleny, and Sunshine Coast Hinterland Tour

You will start the day with a nice country drive to your first stop where you will enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee alongside the picturesque view atop Mapleton Falls. A lovely ridgeline drive atop the Blackall Range will then land us in Montville Artisan Village, the prettiest and most unique little village on the hinterland. You will have over an hour to explore the wonderful Montville Artisan Village and its many novelty shops, galleries and artisan delights. you will then go to a charming hinterland cottage cafe for your included lunch and drink. Attached to this cafe is shop filled with local produce, art and crafts. Next, a ridgeline drive will take us to a panoramic lookout with views of the entire Sunshine Coast coastline, from Noosa to Caloundra and as far as Moreton Island on a clear day. you then journey further along the ridgeline to the Maleny region where you will take you on a guided nature walk through a mesmerising remnant old-growth rainforest with giant native trees, many singing birds, pademelons (wallabies) and more. This walk is 1.2km and relatively flat. For those who don't feel comfortable doing this walk, you can joyfully spend your time at the entrance, where there is a discovery centre and cafe with views of the Glass House Mountains. Following your nature walk you take a short drive to another panoramic lookout where you will experience one of the most stunning and photographed views in Australia, with unimpeded views of the picturesque Glass House Mountains. you now indulge is some of the finest artisan Belgian chocolates in the region with a chocolate tasting included at Maleny's favourite chocolate factory from Monday to Saturday and with Montville's favourite chocolate makers on Sunday. A drive through the Maleny village and back along the ridgeline will get us to your last stop, where you can reflect on this amazing day as you participate in a mountain top wine tasting with ocean views at the local’s favourite winery and vineyard. You can now recline your seats and enjoy the journey back down the mountain in comfort, and you will have you back to your accommodation in time for sunset and dinner.
