An AEA Luxury Tours vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a full day Hunter Valley Diamond Day private tour. Departing from the city, travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge via the Gore Hill Freeway to join the Pacific Highway and then the F3 freeway directly to the Hunter Valley, which is nestled in the lee of the Great Dividing Range. 180 years young, this is Australia’s oldest and best known wine region and is soaked in history. It’s a dynamic and fascinating area that brims with over 150 top class wineries, 65 indulgent restaurants as well as gourmet produce and boutique breweries.
All-inclusive experience starts with a visit to the Binnorie Dairy, one of Australia's premiere soft cheese producers. Here, enjoy samplings of a selection of the cheeses made onsite and opportunity to purchase. From here, visit 2 premium boutique wineries where you have an opportunity to taste a range of wine varietals. A selection of preferred wineries includes Wandin Estated, Margan Wines, Leogate Winery, Gundog Estate, Tulloch Wines, Hunters Dream Estate. Then, arrive at lunch destination, Cafe Enzo located in a Tuscan inspired village in the heart of the Hunter Valley. After lunch travel to Keith Tulloch Winery. This small completely family owned winery and vineyard produces wines that express the unique terrain and climate from the ancient soils of the Brokenback Range. Here you will enjoy a unique wine tasting experience n collaboration with artisan chocolatier 'Cocoa Nib'. Sample handmade praline chocolates, matched to the winery's current release wine. You will be returned to your hotel on conclusion of the tour.
