Meet at the Welcome Centre located on the Lower Concourse of the Opera House for the start of your Sydney Opera House Tour. Step beneath the sails and discover what makes the Opera House so inspiring. Discover insider secrets and stories of the Opera House artists and performances, and step inside the iconic theatres and foyers that bring to life over 1800 performances each year. Explore the building with your knowledgeable guide, learn about how Jorn Utzon’s vision came into existence against impossible odds, and capture photographs from rare vantage points, off limits to the general public. There are approximately 300 steps - low impact. Tour duration is 1 hour. Following your tour, enjoy a main meal and a beverage at either the Opera Bar or House Canteen.

- Tours start at The Welcome Centre located on the Lower Concourse of the Opera House.
- Tours are available from 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.
- On check in, guests will receive a printed ticket which will display the choice of meal venue - this is to be redeemed with staff at the chosen venue for the main meal and beverage, between 11.30am and 6.00pm.
- There are approximately 300 stairs in this tour and participants are required to wear comfortable shoes.
- Cloaking: Backpacks and small items to be cloaked.
- No luggage or large bags accepted.
- Access to individual theatres is subject to availability and may be limited due to performances, rehearsals and other events.
- This product is a set menu and the only dietary requirement that can be catered for is vegetarian.
