Choose to get your morning off to a great start, with a spectacular balloon inflation display. Rise up and float over the scenic Atherton tablelands with its rainforest fringed mountains and tranquil country landscapes and enjoy a classic scenic flight. Watch out for local wildlife and afterwards there are balloon pack up games before boarding the coach for the return transfer at approximately 9.30am.~~~~ ~~ 01-Apr-2025 to 31-Mar-2026~~Valid for 01APR25-31MAR26: The professional tour guides will meet you in Mareeba and deliver you to the launch site pre-dawn for you to witness the impressive scene of balloons being inflated - once inflated they stand taller than a ten storey building. When the balloon is ready, step into the basket with your experienced pilot. Feel the peace and serenity of floating above the rainforest covered hills and mountains, set against the stunning backdrop of the rising sun. There is nothing in the world like the feeling of floating gently above the earth. Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy sweeping views of the Atherton Tablelands on one side then look towards the coast and Great Barrier Reef - its the best of both worlds! The very experienced pilots will slowly guide the balloon down to the landing point, where the fun continues, you all pitch in and fold up the balloon itself, have a laugh and take some more photos. Finally, gather together with the pilot and ground crew for a light breakfast snack, chat and to toast the sensational flight experience with a glass of sparkling wine.~~~~
Important Info:	Valid for 01APR25-31MAR26: Important Information: - Please provide guests email, mobile phone & Australian postcode at the time of booking. - Children under 3 years old cannot participate. - Children 3-12 years old must e accompanied by an adult. - Children 13-17 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the tour. - You must be able to climb up the 1.2 meter foothold ladder into the hot air balloon basket without assistance. - You must be able to stand during the entire flight. - Pregnant women and those who participated in diving the previous day are not suited to this activity. - Passengers with medical conditions or that have accessibility issues, please check with your doctor or specialist prior to booking. - No passengers will be allowed to fly if their judgement is impaired by alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine. - Due to weight and safety restrictions, handbags and backpacks will not be carried on the hot air balloon. - Unless camera fails, digital photos will be provided every flight. If the camera fails, no compensation or refund will be given. Please note: - This is a self-drive to Mareeba option. - The team will meet you at Mareeba before heading to the launch site. - The hot air ballooning Cairns experience concludes between 08:45am to 09:45am. - All bookings are weather dependent, and in the case of bad weather your booking will be rescheduled. - Timings might be adjusted due to seasonal changes, and specific schedule is subject to reservation confirmation you receive.
