Your Kangaroo Island Touring Company Guide, will collect you from your accommodation where you will begin the day by heading to the South Coast of the Island, for a private guided beach tour of Seal Bay, to see the endangered Australian Sea Lion in their “bedroom”. Considered one of the best immersive nature experiences, enjoy the opportunity to see these layful animals in their breeding colony. Observe the adorable pups, watchful mothers, breeding bulls, and adolescent males trying to impress, as they surf the waves, or shelter in the dunes, depending on the weather and time of year. Hear first-hand about the research that is being undertaken, and efforts to learn more about this endangered species. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch served by your guide, nestled in a natural bush setting on a working farm, near a fresh water dam, surrounded by native bush and wildlife. After lunch, your journey continues through Parndana, the central township of the Island, towards the magnificent northern coast of the Island, keeping an eye out for native wildlife along the way. Explore stunning Stokes Bay, recently named Australia’s best beach for 2023, before returning to your accommodation.~~~~

In addition to accommodation you may request for guests to be collected from Kingscote Airport, however this will be subject to baggage restrictions or a separate luggage transfer through Kangaroo Island Transfers at an additional cost, please enquire. Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest Island. For pick up or drop off locations more than 50km from Kingscote Airport, a nett non commissionable remote service surcharge of $495 (inclusive of GST) will apply. This covers the additional staff time, fuel usage and vehicle distance travelled. All touring with Kangaroo Island Touring Company is conducted on a private basis. A minimum of two guests will be charged for in the event of a single traveller. We can accommodate up to 10 pax in a single booking. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
