itinerary:	~~ 01-Apr-2024 to 31-Mar-2026~~Valid for 01APR24-31MAR26: Self-drive to Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, 30 mins from the Katherine Township (30km drive). Meet at the Nitmiluk Boat Jetty (400m walk from the Nitmiluk Visitors Centre), 30 mins prior to your tour departure. The Kuluyampi Explorer is about freedom to create your own adventure, at your own pace. A boat transfer will take you to the top of the first gorge, allowing you to take to the waters from the second gorge. From here, you create your experience. You may choose the venture upstream and explore the subsequent gorges, or simply paddle at a more leisurely pace, taking advantage of the swimming spots along the way to cool off. We recommend taking plenty of food and water with you! Return paddling distances: Second Gorge: 12.2km Third Gorge: 14.6km Fourth Gorge: 16.6km.Manual portage between the gorges is required, high fitness level needed.~~~~
Important Info:	Valid for 01APR24-31MAR26: Age Restrictions: - Children 0-5 years inclusive are not permitted. Children 6-15 years inclusive must be accompanied by an adult. Important Information: - Boat departure is from the Nitmiluk Boat Ramp (400m walk from the Nitmiluk Visitor Centre). - Sign in opens 30 minutes prior and closes 15mins prior to departure. - Canoe hire commences from the start of the second gorge. - There is only 1 ferry departure per session hire, and 1 return ferry. - Return ferry times (from the second gorge) is 05:00pm. - Porterage is required between the gorges. Cancellation Policy Valid for 01APR24-31MAR26: - A fee of 50% of the tour cost will be charged for bookings cancelled 48-24 hours prior to travel. - No refund if cancelled less than 24 hours prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.
