Be dazzled by the wondrous sights of Australia’s most vibrant city and learn about Melbourne’s fascinating history with the expert guide. Join a small group tour with Oceania to make the most of the stay, visiting such wonders as Federation Square, the MCG and the world-famous sports precinct, St Patricks Cathedral, Albert Park Lake and St Kilda Beach. Visit world famous Albert Park, home of the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, as well as inner-city sports precinct, home to the famous MCG and Melbourne Park where the Australian Tennis Open takes place. Enjoy a short break in the city to have some lunch (own expense) before continuing the journey to Victoria’s most famous Island. Phillip Island is home to one of the largest penguin colonies in Australia. More than 30,000 little penguins live along its shores and each night penguins emerge from the surf and waddle along the beach to their burrows. This afternoon tours the guests will enjoy seeing this natural phenomenon and be amazed by the dramatic coastline of the Island. At the Nobbies stroll along the boardwalk to experience the waves crashing along this rugged coastline, see the blowhole and be mesmerized by the stunning views. Might even encounter the first penguin nests. From here it’s off to the world- famous penguin parade. As darkness falls, they swim to shore and waddle across the beach back to their homes in the sand dunes of Summerland Beach. This is an experience the guests will never forget. We also have a number of spots in the Underground area to help provide pax with a premium viewing option. As always capacity is limited, if that's the case we will inform you at time of confirming booking requests.
