Depending on your preferences, when passing through western Sydney you can take 1.5 hours at either Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to the largest collection of Australian native animals in the world, or Sydney Zoo, Sydney's newest animal sanctuary with both native and exotic animals. Both offer the chance to see all your favourite animals up close and interact directly with some truly iconic Aussie creatures, including koalas, kangaroos, and many more. Further west the journey follows the Great Western Highway, the same route taken by Aboriginals for thousands of years. Once in the mountains, enjoy some time for bushwalking, waterfalls, and lookouts. While hiking, keep an eye out for colourful birds, unique animal life, and dramatic canyons and cliffs. Your expert guide will point out interesting natural formations, and provide commentary throughout the day. Choose from an array of different dining options for lunch. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the national park, a table at a great local cafe, a bistro meal in an Aussie pub, or a gourmet experience in a prestigious restaurant. After lunch you'll head to Echo Point, which provides the best view of the Three Sisters and the Jamison Valley to hear the Aboriginal story of creation. Optional free time for you to visit Scenic World for the Discovery pass taking in the three rides (at own expense) or you can go on another beautiful bushwalk. Driver/guide will safely deliver you back to your pickup address~~~~ |
