~~ 01-Apr-2025 to 31-Mar-2026~~Valid for 01APR25-31MAR26:
Make your own way to the meeting point to join your Bribie Island Sea to Table. Kick off your day with a thrilling drive along Bribie Island’s spectacular coastline. We’ll make our first stop at Norfolk Lagoon, where you’ll help unload the kayaks and set off on a peaceful paddle through the tea-tree-stained waters. Paddle through the calm, golden-hued lagoon surrounded by lush bushland and local wildlife. After reloading the kayaks, we continue north to Fort Bribie. Here, you’ll walk among the island’s wartime relics, WWII bunkers built in the 1940s that are slowly being reclaimed by the sea. After working up an appetite, it’s time to indulge in a fresh, locally sourced lunch with your toes in the sand. Enjoy a spread of Queensland prawns or Moreton Bay bugs (depending on availability), fresh ham or chicken salad rolls, seasonal fruit, and your choice of a wine or cold beer. As we head back south along the beach, keep your eyes on the surf, Bribie’s shores are often visited by playful dolphins, making for a magical end to your coastal journey. Tour concludes returning back to original pickup point.~~~~ |
