The Shores is an ideal setting for relaxing around the pools, playing tennis, volleyball, jogging, fishing, barbecuing, beach combing or leisurely walks along beautiful Blacks Beach. All units have two televisions, and free high speed internet. There is a book and DVD library and puzzles and board games are available for use by guests. The Shores Holiday Apartments is a Quality Tourism Accredited Business and is also a Eco Certified Nature Tourism Accommodation provider that cares for its guest and also the environment. No specific facilities for people with disabilities, although our Beachfront and Deluxe Villas are suitable for people in wheelchairs who can walk a short distance. Toilets are not large enough for wheelchair access.

Large open outdoor play areas as well as Tennis, Hopscotch, basketball, Volleyball. balancing sky walk, Two swimming Pools, Spa Pool. Toddlers pool, and the Beach.
Indoor activities include Books, Games, Puzzles, DVD's, and free Wifi.
Driving Info:
Follow the Bruce Highway North from Mackay's CBD, veering right towards the Northern Beaches going past Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre. Drive approximately 8 kilometres, then turn right at the large roundabout which has a "Welcome to the Northern Beaches" sign in it. Go straight through one roundabout and turn right at the second roundabout into Blacks Beach Road. Go past the Blacks Beach Tavern and turn right into Pacific Drive at the end of the road. We are 50 metres from the intersection on the left.
Transfer Info:
A Bus service operate from Canelands Central to the Northern Beaches (Route 307) Monday to Saturday. The closest stop is Chenoweth Drive, Blacks Beach Road intersection. Approximately 7 minutes walk from The Shores Holiday Apartments.
If flying into Mackay catch the bus service from Mackay Airport into the City Centre and Canelands Central (Route 303) Monday to Saturday, then change buses at Caneland Central (Route 307) for the Northern Beaches.
Sorry buses dont run on Sunday's.
