Lady Elliot Island is a coral cay located on the southern tip of Australia's iconic Great Barrier Reef, 80kms north-east of Bundaberg, just north of Fraser Island. The Island is situated within a highly protected Green Zone of the Marine National Park and is a sanctuary for over 1,200 species of marine life. Lady Elliot Island is regarded as one of the best snorkelling and diving locations on the Great Barrier Reef and is renowned for its healthy coral reef and incredible marine life including turtles, manta rays, reef sharks and the entire cast of Finding Nemo.

Transfer Info:

Access is by aircraft only. The island has its own airstrip and offer scenic flight transfers from Bundaberg (approx. 30mins), Hervey Bay (approx. 40mins), Brisbane (Redcliffe, approx. 80mins) and the Gold Coast (approx. 100mins). There is no boat access to Lady Elliot Island due to its remote location.
