Leisure Inn Penny Royal is a boutique, heritage property with modern facilities located just 5 minutes walk to Launceston CBD, famous Cataract Gorge and the Old Launceston Seaport Restaurants. Originally built as a corn mill in 1840, the property was moved 54 kilometres to Launceston and was rebuilt as a hotel over 130 years later - stone by stone. Penny Royal offers motel rooms as well as apartments, all with a unique heritage atmosphere. Hotel facilities include an on-site Restaurant, a lolly factory and gift shop, guest laundry, off-street parking, and non-smoking rooms. All rooms are located over three levels via stair access only, the hotel does not have lifts.
