An Australian Luxury Escapes vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a full day Blue Mountains tour. Travel north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Australia’s shortest freeway. Continuing west now your first stop is at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Arriving early means beating the crowds and allowing you to get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and wombats. You will love these amazing animals. Reboarding the vehicle continue west towards the Blue Mountains National Park. Enter a little known hidden clearing to enjoy some home style morning tea. You will have time to roam the area and seek out the wild kangaroos and birdlife that frequents this part of the National Park. Next is the breathtaking views over the Jamison Valley at Kings Tableland. Lunch today is at one of Australia’s most iconic historical hotels, with views of the Megalong Valley whilst indulging in local cuisine and sipping on a glass of beer, wine, or soft drink. After lunch we skirt around cliff drive towards the famous 3 sisters rock formation, where you will meet your guide and embark on your 1.5 hour hike. Spend time gaining an in depth understanding of the geography, flora and fauna of this world heritage listed area before being met by your Australian Luxury Escapes guide and reboarding your vehicle. Sit back and relax for the drive back through Sydney’s western suburbs, crossing the ANZAC Bridge before arriving back in the city.
